.about us

GERMANY TODAY is a German initiative set up some years ago as The Creative Capital Foundation, now revitalised under the patronage of the German Ambassador in London, by four senior representatives of German cultural and business organisations and the German Embassy in Britain, who are the Trustees.

GERMANY TODAY  aims to project a comprehensive and contemporary image of Germany in Britain and to promote better understanding between the two countries. The need for this initiative is underlined by recent surveys which suggest that the majority of British people desire increased access to information to enable them to form a clear and realistic picture of modern Germany.

As a contact point for German companies and institutions from the Arts, Media, Industry and Politics in Britain, GERMANY TODAY aims to bring together innovative and high-profile projects and sponsors. All German business, cultural and political institutions and the German media in Britain as well as British-German institutions, are invited to share their professional know-how with GERMANY TODAY and to pool their resources to promote the Foundation’s objectives.
